UNGS 1201 WEEK 3 ( TO BE GRADED) ISLAM & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT     Sustainability is not a new concept in Islam. But, how ignorance we are to not really realize about this?  UNGS 1201 WEEK 2  INTRODUCTION TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT     It is fascinating for me to know how people started to care more about the sustainable development that widen from MDGs  which focus more to to SDGs that involves most of the countries in the world. Now I can see how togetherness are important in working on these goals. When I learned about how society can influence us emotionally, that is when I can see more on how big of a damage we made on this world because of our own ego. The environment can not be clean and safe by one hand only. It needs a everyone to take part in keeping its sustainability.  UNGS 1201 WEEK 1 ( TO BE GRADED ) INTRODUCTION TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT     Being introduced to a new concept that I was not too concerned about in the past, sustainable development concepts opened my eyes on how big of a problem we had in this world and the solutions people are working at could not succeed because of this one factor, people. I was able to see more of this factor in my Introduction to Communication class. It was not suprising when I found out how big of the difference in the size of Earth compared to Saturn. This tiny little dust (compared to Saturn) is loaded with creatures with egoism bigger than the whole universe. I can confirm my own view when I got group assignments from my classes. Almost in every group, I could find someone who does not care about the importance of doing the group project together.
